Twinkle Toes
a) Ballet/Jazz - T-shirt, shorts/stretchy pants, hair up in a bun (it long enough), ballet shoes

2021-2022 Studio Policies
1. CLASS FEES
Class fees are to be paid in full by the first class.

2. PAYMENT OPTIONS
Fees can be paid by post-dated cheques made out to LIBERTÉ LIGHT DANCE, SCHOOL OF DANCE INC. 
or by cash or by Email Money Transfers to: LiberteLightDance@gmail.com. 

The following options are available:

A)        Full fees for one term paid by cheque or by cash or by Email Money Transfers to:
             LiberteLightDance@gmail.com by the first class of the term

B)        Post-dated monthly cheques dated for the 1st or 21st of the month covering all fees for one term.
            Post-dated cheques for the whole term dated for the 1st or 21st of the month
            to be submitted by the first class of the term.

C)        Both terms may be paid in full with post-dated cheques or cash or or by Email Money Transfers to:
            LiberteLightDance@gmail.com by the first class of the term.

3. MISSED CLASSES
There will be no deductions or refunds for missed lessons except in the rare case of classes being
cancelled by the teacher. If more than 24 hour notice is given, student may be given the option of a
make-up class by invitation to join in another class of similar age and ability level.

4. TERMINATIONS
If a student decides to discontinue classes, notice must be given at least 1 week before the next month of classes begins.

5. LATE FEES
If payments are not given on time, a $35 late fee will be added to class fee and students will be suspended if classes are 30 days overdue.

6.  REGISTRATION FEE
There is a one time $45 registration fee per family that must be paid at first class.

7.  ATTIRE
Acro
a) body suit, shorts or leggings, bare feet (no sneakers permitted), and hair up
b) OR stretchy pants/shorts, t-shirt, bare feet (no sneakers permitted), and hair up (girls must wear a body suit or one piece bathing suit)
Ballet/Twinkle Toes
a) tights, body suit, skirt, ballet shoes (no sneakers permitted), and hair up in a bun or pony tail
b) OR stretchy pants/shorts, t-shirt, ballet shoes (no sneakers permitted) and hair up in a bun or pony tail
Jazz
a) tights, body suit, skirt, jazz shoes (no sneakers permitted), and hair up in a bun or pony tail
b) OR stretchy pants/shorts, t-shirt, ballet/gymnastic shoes (no sneakers permitted) and hair up in a bun or pony tail
Tap
a) tights, body suit, skirt, tap shoes, and hair up in a bun or pony tail
b) OR stretchy pants/shorts, t-shirt, tap shoes and hair up in a bun or pony tail
Hip Hop
a) sweat pants, jogging pants, yoga pants are all acceptable attire, along with a T-shirt or tank
top with hair kept out of the students face, and school gym approved shoes, (girls must wear a body suit or one piece bathing suit).

  **Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.

8. CONDUCT
Please be on time for your lesson. There is no food or drink (except water) allowed in the studio dance floor. Food and drink is allowed in the waiting area, please clean up any spills that may occur while snacking between classes.
No gum will be allowed in class. Please pick up after yourselves and your children in the waiting area. 
You will be responsible for any damages made to the studio by your child. Please keep little hands off
windows and mirrors. Our goal is to reinforce positive behaviour. Students will receive stamps
or a sticker for good behaviour. Children may not receive their stamp or sticker if they have not
been compliant. If a child is non-compliant after several attempts, they will be asked to sit out of the
class (time out) until they are ready to participate with good behaviour.

9. WAITING AREA
Please access the waiting area quietly. This helps eliminate distractions for other students engaged in
the class that may be happening as you arrive to wait for your class.

10.  PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOS
Liberté Light Dance will be taking pictures and/or conduct video recordings during performances. We would like your permission to use these pictures and video on our website, in ‘thank you’ packages, or in emails to Liberté Light Dance parents. We will never reference your child by name or provide any specific information regarding your child. We also will never sell these pictures; we will use them exclusively for Liberté Light Dance purposes. A copy of the recorded videos may be purchased ONLY by Liberté Light Dance students/parents/relatives.

11. LIABILITY
Parents understand that dance is as active an engagement as any sport, and whilst every effort is made to avoid them, injuries can happen. The school accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained via any means.
